Edinburgh Airport is linked directly to the city via a modern tram system with a journey time of around 30 minutes. India Street is within the peripheral Zone 5A which means you need to pay for metered parking Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm. Beware that Heriot Row at the south end of India Street is Zone 1A where parking is more expensive and needs to be paid for over weekends too.
A single set of keys to the property will be located in a key box to the left side of the front door, the combination to the key box, along with a contact telephone number for the owner will be provided by email prior to arrival.

There will be a welcome pack with some essentials provided on arrival but there is a Sainsbury’s local supermarket one block to the east on Howe Street which is open 7 days a week from 7am to 11pm.
There are simply too many excellent establishments to mention within easy walking distance of the apartment! Head 5 minutes down into Stockbridge for a more Bohemian experience, walk 5 minutes up into the central New Town hub of George Street for many famous eateries, stroll along to the Playhouse area for a plethora of ‘pre show’ restaurants, visit the Old Town for something more traditional or take a short taxi ride to the recently developed and very cosmopolitan waterfront at Leith which boasts two Michelin star restaurants amongst its host of other venues.
